Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist Opportunity:
You will be responsible for managing all aspects of the accounts receivable process, including invoicing, payment collection, and account reconciliation. This role ensures our financial operations run smoothly and supports overall cash flow management.
Key Responsibilities of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- Prepare and send invoices to clients in a timely and accurate manner.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding accounts to ensure prompt payment.
- Reconcile accounts receivable records and resolve discrepancies.
- Process incoming payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and credit cards.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and communicate with clients about billing issues.
- Assist with month-end closing procedures and generate financial reports.
- Collaborate with internal teams to improve billing and collection processes.
Qualifications of the Accounts Receivable Specialist:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred).
- 2–4 years of experience in accounts receivable or a related role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Knowledge of GAAP and accounts receivable best practices is a plus.
