Overview of the Accounts Receivable Specialist role:

• Managing and processing customer deductions related to product discrepancies (e.g., cases, bags) that may have been incorrectly tracked or deducted.
• Investigating discrepancies in accounts receivable, partnering with internal teams and external customers to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
• Reviewing and analyzing large data sets using Microsoft Excel to generate reports and perform deep-dive analyses as needed.
• Reconciling accounts receivable, ensuring all entries are accurate and complete.
• Collaborating with various teams to resolve invoicing and payment discrepancies.
• Communicating professionally and effectively with customers to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Preferred Qualifications for the Accounts Specialist Role:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
• Proven experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar role, with a solid understanding of financial reconciliations and deductions management.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with experience handling large data sets, pivot tables, and advanced formulas.
• Familiarity with Great Plains or similar accounting software is highly desirable.
