Summary:
Arrowmark is seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist to join the team! This position is responsible for managing and ensuring the accuracy of AIA billings, communicating directly with clients and stakeholders, and assisting with month-end and year-end closing activities that are related to accounts receivable. This is a non-exempt position within the accounting department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and submit AIA billings to multiple jobs each month
- Manage CCIP (Contractor Control Insurance Program) enrollment and monthly payroll processing
- Responsible for sending out and collecting monthly subcontractor/vendor lien waiver
- Process, review, code and input daily outgoing invoices and incoming payments.
- Generate monthly billing worksheets to distribute to Project Managers
- Prepare and perform weekly AR report and runs and forecast future collection schedule.
- Research and resolve account value discrepancies promptly with customers.
- Collections on past due accounts.
- Assist Controller in monthly review/reconciliation of change orders and subcontractor commitments (on WIP reports)
- Monitor incoming bank and credit card transactions daily to ensure AR system is up to date.
- Assist in receiving and tracking vendor/supplier preliminary notices and lien release requirements and submittals and releases.
- Enter new customers into accounting system.
- Manage relations with customers' A/P departments via with high degree of professionalism and efficiency by email, phone and in-person.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent Required
- Ability to produce a high-volume output while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to prioritize and multi-task
- Ability to work independently, take initiative, set priorities, and see projects through to completion
- Intermediate Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe based software skills
- Experience with QuickBooks Online, Viewpoint Vista and Sage preferred
- This is a safety sensitive position that requires a drug screen and background check
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit for long periods of time, talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer keyboard and telephone. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work. Light to moderate lifting is required.
