Responsibilities & Qualifications:Due to significant growth, we are seeking an Accounts Receiveable (AR) Specialist to join our team at our Corporate Headquarters in King of Prussia, PA on a full-time basis. The Accounts Receivable Specialist reports to the Accounts Receivable Supervisor.
Schedule: Full-Time, 5 days a week in office during training period (times flexible)
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Cash application, reporting, payment research, and billing
- Effectively communicating with our customers and field locations
- Monitoring terminated accounts
- Opens and sorts checks by location
- Accurately posts customer payments by applying checks, ACH payments, and credit card payments in a high-volume environment
- Scans daily deposits to bank
- Creates and applies credits to customer accounts
- Researches and resolves payment discrepancies
- Communicates with field administrators for application instructions
- Runs monthly statements
- Creates billings as needed
- Monitors terminated accounts
- Communicates with collection agencies regarding terminated accounts
- Assist Accounts Receivable supervisor with various duties as needed
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Minimum of 2 years' of experience in the full cycle Accounts Receivable process
- Minimal supervision needed
- Accuracy is essential when completing daily tasks and miscellaneous projects
- Ability to meet communicated schedules and deadlines
- Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Adherence to policies, procedures and instructions of manager
- Ability to function well in a team-oriented environment
