Job Title: Accounts Receivable Specialist

Location: Irving, TX – Hybrid (Mostly remote with the option to go onsite if preferred)

Candidates must have a personal laptop or desktop; computer equipment will not be provided by the client.

Pay: $21 /hr. and up, depending on experience

Schedule: Flexible within the hours of 7 AM - 6 PM, Monday through Friday

Job Description: 

As an AR Specialist, you will play a key role in researching and applying aged unapplied cash, auditing payment processes, and supporting AR ledger cleanup for a client’s $3.8M project. This position is vital for ensuring accurate and efficient AR processes.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

• Research and apply unapplied cash to customer invoices

• Reconcile consumer payments and escalate to collections as necessary

• Audit process adherence and documentation for smooth B2B collections

• Identify process gaps and work with teams to improve compliance

• Assist with AR ledger cleanup and support ad hoc projects

• Work independently to meet all deadlines and collaborate with team members as needed

Minimum Qualifications/Requirements:

• REQUIRED: 5+ years of AR experience, including reconciliations and payment research

• REQUIRED: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, and IF statements

• REQUIRED: Must have own PC and monitors for remote work

• NetSuite experience preferred

• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail

• Ability to prioritize tasks, multitask, and follow up efficiently

• Flexible schedule to accommodate business needs
