Job DescriptionGot a knack for numbers and looking to get your foot in the door of a great company? We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join our Accounts Receivable team! As a full-time Accounts Receivable Specialist II, you will provide key operational support to our expanding Accounting division, and you will also get the inside view of how a multi-million-dollar company functions day to day. As you work on our Accounts Receivable team, you will rely on your great people and problem-solving skills, superb attention to detail and ability to excel under tight deadlines. If you possess these skills and know your way around Microsoft Excel and Outlook, then let’s talk. This position is on-site at our Carson headquarters.
A day on the job looks like this:
- Post daily payments including checks, wires, and EDI/ACH transfers to customer accounts, ensuring accuracy.
- Process customer credit card payments
- Perform assigned reconciliations and associated Journal Entries
- Retrieve and process bank reports as it relates to deposits
- Process customer refunds for multiple payment methods.
- Participate in special department projects/initiatives as directed
- Providing operational support to multiple internal Accounting teams
- Ensuring that all internal and external customers receive top-notch service
- Contributing to the improvement and development of accounting processes and systems
- Assist us with the migration into SAP
Got the skills and experience? Here’s what we’re looking for:
- 3+ years experience in an Accounts Receivable department
- Bachelors degree required
- SAP experience required
- Lockbox experience required
- Strong data entry/10-key skills
- Strong work ethic, team player mentality, and ability to perform outstanding work
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook required
- Self- motivated and organized, with a demonstrated ability to proactively manage and prioritize multiple competing projects simultaneously
- Professional written and verbal communication
- Get it done mindset and ability to handle high volume of customer payments
- Tip-top customer service and communication skills over the phone and in person
- Strong sense of urgency
- Great accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to work on-site at our Carson office

- Hourly: $24-$28 with an annual bonus of up to 10%
