Summary
The Accounts Receivable Specialist will be part of a dynamic, new Accounts Receivable, Revenue, and Billing team and report to the Manager, Accounts Receivable.
Primary ResponsibilitiesWe are seeking an experienced commercial Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist with a strong background in business to business collections, account reconciliation and customer satisfaction.
- The ideal candidate requires professional telephone and writing skills in addition to exemplary customer service skills required to resolve account issues.
- The candidate will need to be a highly motivated self-starter, with a demonstrated ability to effectively multi-task, build strong business relationships and resolve disputes.
- Develop and maintain long-term customer relationships that lead to satisfied customers.
- Proactively work with customers to address any delays in payment.
- Maintain and update customer information in Netsuite and provide reports as required.
- Research customer issues and provide reporting.
- 3-5 years of experience in business to business Accounts Receivables and Collections preferable
- Must have exemplary verbal and written communications skills at a level suitable for communicating with customers and other internal stakeholders.
- Experience working with Billing and Collections Systems (Netsuite preferred)
- Strong customer service skills and advanced training in customer service preferred.
- Deep Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
- Must be a self-starter requiring minimal supervision, demonstrate the ability to solve practical problems and issues.
