Location: Tampa, FL 33619

Salary: $50,000 - $65,000/Yearly

Job Summary:

The Accounts Receivable Collections Representative will manage the successful and timely collection of all client payments for the two Florida locations. This role involves ensuring clients have all pertinent information to submit payments, maintaining communication with the client through the progression of payment status, and managing the full cycle of collections. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and experience in the construction industry (AIA style billings, progress billings, SOV templates, and others as needed). You will work closely with the finance team to ensure accurate financial reporting as well as collaborate with project managers and other departments to ensure a smooth collection process. Participating in team meetings and contributing to process improvement initiatives is high value.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain detailed records of client accounts, including payments and outstanding balances.
• Reconcile accounts receivable reports to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
• Address client inquiries and resolve billing discrepancies in a timley manner.
• Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and follow up on overdue accounts.
• Implement collection strategies to reduce outstanding receivables.
• Communicate with clients to arrange payment plans if necessary, while also communicating with the Controller.
• Prepare and issue Mechanics lien notices to past due project accounts.
•  Prepare regular reports on accounts receivable status, including aging summaries and collection forecasts.
• Provide financial data to support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Other finance department tasks that may arise.

What You’ll Need:

• Education: Associates degree
• Experience: 1 year of collection management required
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written english communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Organizational Skills: Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
• Physical Skills: Able to lift up to 15 lbs.
