Dallas, TX – Hybrid, 3 Days Onsite
Compensation: $90k-$120k + bonus depending on experience
One of Vaco’s PE-backed clients is looking to onboard an Accounts Receivable Manager to their growing team. Qualified candidates will have full cycle AR experience, previous supervisory / management experience, and a displayed mindset of problem solving and process improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a team of 2-3 AR associates/analysts to ensure timeliness of collections.
- Working manager, player coach, manage portion of the collections portfolio as well as escalated issues.
- Develop and drive collection strategy and execution with high level of customer-service and professionalism.
- Work with team, Accounting management to ensure accuracy of billing, collections and accounts payable.
- Ensure that KPIs are implemented effectively and met consistently.
- Identify areas for streamlining processes and developing enhanced analytics.
- Review accounts for errors, completing adjustments when needed.
- Provide trend reports including DSO, aging, payment history and other applicable information.
- Utilize multiple systems including major ERP system, payment systems, intermediate Excel, etc.
- Display professional written and verbal communication for both internal and external customers.
- Manage, train, mentor and coach team.
- Perform other duties as required.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of A/R experience, including supervisory experience.
- Experience managing dynamic business collections portfolio.
- ERP understanding, intermediate Excel required.
- Experience with payment systems and sales tracking systems are a plus.
- Thorough understanding of business collections.
- Professional written and verbal communication with strong customer service skills.
