About the Job
Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or Business
- 7-10 years of collection, settlement, and overall receivable management experience
- 5-7 years of managing a receivables unit and third-party collection firms
- 3-5 years working with the legal aspects of collections, including suits, judgments, and bankruptcies
- 1-3 years of P&C insurance experience preferred
- Management experience, including strategy development, performance appraisals, determining appropriate staffing levels and assigning job responsibilities to meet business needs
- Complete understanding of internal and external collections, dispute resolution and payment negotiation
- Thorough understanding of suits, judgments, and the bankruptcy process
- Leadership and mentoring
- Decision making and problem solving
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Proficient in MS Office software
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
