We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Accounts Receivable Lead to join our esteemed firm. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a keen eye for detail and a strong understanding of accounting principles. This role is a permanent position and requires at least 5 years of relevant experience in the field of finance. The Accounts Receivable Lead will play a crucial role in our finance department, ensuring the smooth operation of our financial activities and contributing to our firm's overall financial health.

Responsibilities:

Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, cash application, and collections.
Coordinate the month-end close process, ensuring all financial data is accurate and submitted on time.
Reconcile complex accounts, identifying any discrepancies and resolving issues promptly.
Provide accurate and timely financial reports to management, highlighting any significant issues or trends.
Work closely with other departments to improve processes, increase efficiency, and ensure the accuracy of financial data.
Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements, ensuring our firm's compliance.
Train, mentor, and supervise junior staff, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the finance department.
Collaborate with external auditors, providing all necessary information and addressing any queries promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Accounts Receivable role.
Proven experience with month-end close, cash application, and reconciliation.
Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to identify discrepancies and resolve issues promptly.
Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
Exceptional organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Strong leadership skills, with proven experience in staff supervision and training.
