About the Job
Pritchard Industries, a National Facilities Service Company, is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Billing Specialist. The successful incumbent will have the ability to undertake a variety of activities in accounting – ranging from invoicing, filing, reconciliation, and deposit/cash applications. Strong knowledge of collections.
The position/work schedule is onsite & five days a week and will report directly to the Controller. The office is in the Upper Darby, PA area.
Qualifications/Responsibilities:
- A bachelor’s degree in accounting is preferred, but not required.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience is required.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles & accounts receivable billing.
- Microsoft Office Suite – intermediate level (Excel, Word, Outlook) Data Entry, MS Dynamic SL a plus
- Generate, schedule, and send out weekly/monthly invoices. Follow up on, collect, allocate payments, arrange payment plans, and resolve queries.
- Maintain & track checklists and monthly closing reports; closing timeline is critical and must be met.
- Conduct billing, collection, and reporting activities according to specific deadlines. Perform account reconciliations. Manual process currently.
- Must be able to maintain the normal standard of ethics, conduct and organization policies in job related activities.
- Maintain a friendly, cheerful, and courteous demeanor while ensuring the highest level of customer experience.
- Outstanding, communication, detail orientation and ability to prioritize multiple competing tasks in a fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to work with multiple locations/divisions.
Benefits:
· Salary $60,000 - $65,000/year based on experience.
