Job Summary:  The Accounts Receivable Associate assists and support the Controller in all phases of accounts receivable activity. 

What You’ll do:

• Work efficiently under pressure, meet deadlines, and maintain professional communication with employees, owners, tenants, vendors, and the public.
• Post cash receipts and recurring charges for owners and tenants.
• Prepare invoices and tenant chargebacks.
• Assist with owner/tenant’s questions related to accounts receivable.
• Monitor delinquencies, issue notices, and correspond with attorney as needed. 
• Help prepare and bill annual operating expense reconciliations.
• Support preparation and distribution of monthly financial reports.
• Enter new leases and renewals into the accounting system as needed.
• Deposit checks using a remote scanner or at the bank.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Controller. 

What You’ll Need: 

• Knowledge of property management or related field.
• Must be able to work with figures and understand basic financial concepts.
• Communicates professionally while understanding and addressing customer inquiries and team needs.
• Must be able to work at a fast pace, perform duties while under pressure, and meet deadlines promptly.
• Excellent organizational skills, bookkeeping, detail-oriented, concern for accuracy and efficiency.
• Associate Degree or related work experience.
• Skilled in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word. Also, Adobe Acrobat.
