We are seeking an Accounts Receivable Assistant who will be a key partner in managing customer questions and relationships. This individual will play a pivotal role in collecting information to determine the customer's eligibility for lines of credit while supporting the financial integrity of the organization.
In This Role
- Manage the Accounts Receivable department inbox and provide courteous and prompt responses to customer inquiries
- Manage the Credit inbox and prepare all necessary documentation for management review and approval
- Service as point of contact for customer calls and ensure timely resolution
- Manage the resale certificates for customers and process any necessary refunds according to company policies and procedures
- Facilitate the distribution of necessary documents to customers upon request
- Handle incoming mail and correspondence, prioritizing urgent matters and ensuring timely distribution to relevant departments
- Assist in collection efforts of assigned accounts as needed

The Ideal Person
- Associate's degree in Accounting or a related Business field required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- 2-4 years of relevant work experience
- Understanding of fundamental accounting accounting principles
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities, and thoroughness
- Effective time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
- Proactive approach to taking initiative and assuming responsibility for assigned projects
