About the Company and Opportunity- Accounts Receivable Analyst

CFS, NY is working with a large apparel firm seeking an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join their team. This organization is well-established and handles global distributions. Role Responsibilities include- Accounts Receivable Analyst

• Review retailer deductions, credits, payments and invoice information and reconcile open items
• Obtain supporting documentation and accurately update division and type/reason codes for proper representation of receivables in the general ledger
• Collect outstanding invoices and unauthorized or excessive deductions
• Properly assign deductions for accurate recording in the reserve accounts on the general ledger.
• Negotiate exemptions with retailers
• Interpret shipping documents (POD for terms/reconciliation of liability for missing goods)

Preferred Experience - Accounts Receivable Analyst

• 3+ years of AR/related experience
• Proficient in excel
• High volume chargeback experience
• Big box store experience is a plus
• BA Degree is a plus
