Here's What You'll Get To Do:
Functions as a business support person to the Graham Architectural Products (GAP) financial and plant management teams. Supports month end close process. Responsible for special projects as assigned.
This position will serve the operation with the following responsibilities and job duties:
- Create customer invoices
- Supports credit and collections manager
- Posts customer payments on account
- Responsible for data entry and updating related to the sales backlog database
- Maintains job files
- Performs routine account analysis and reconciliations
- Posts recurring and reversing journal entries
- Supports monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting
What We're Looking For:
- Associates Degree or proven related work experience
- 2-5 years of financial analysis background in manufacturing preferred
- Ability to work independently
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Strong understanding of financial accounting recordkeeping systems and ability to maintain accounting records
- Must be able to handle multiple projects concurrently
- Detail oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to follow through and meet deadlines
- High level proficiency using PC spreadsheets (Excel Preferred)
- High integrity and commitment to excellence
- Strong communication skills , written and oral
- Good interpersonal skills and capable of interacting with all levels of people within the organization
- Flexible and willing to implement change and always on the path for continual improvement
Physical Requirements:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms.
