Volt is immediately hiring for a Accounts Payable – Receivable Administrator
As an Accounts Payable – Receivable Administrator you will:
- Manages and distributes incoming invoices by sorting documents and identifying and sending to appropriate manager for approval. Enters invoice information into Prophet for payment
- Process invoices, weekly check runs, ACH payments and deposits for company
- Prepare and enter journal entries for company
- Handles A/P paperwork discrepancies by locating, researching, and correcting problems with invoices, mismatches, and statements
- Responds to inquiries from suppliers regarding payment status
- Check online bank for incoming ACH/wires. Print ACH’s, Apply ACH’s and add to daily bank depost list in Excel.
- Check mail for customer checks. Apply checks and add to daily bank deposit list
- Print short paid invoice and email to buyers for research
- Credit memo processing
- Process bank deposits
- Reach out to customers for payment statuses on past due invoices
- Process Sales Aging reports for management
- Mail customer their invoices
The ideal candidate will have:
- Two to three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
- Must be able to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Must be able to write routine reports and correspondence. Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
- Must be able to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Must be able to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations. Must be able to operate a tenkey calculator by touch.
- Must be able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Must be able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
- Must be able to follow directions from a supervisor. Must be able to interact with coworkers. Must be able to understand and follow posted work rules and procedures. Must be able to accept constructive criticism. Must be able to lead and manage others.
