Responsibilities:
- Supervise the accounts payable team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices, payments, and expense reports.
- Review and approve invoices for payment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage vendor relationships, including resolving issues, negotiating terms, and addressing inquiries.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Develop and maintain efficient accounts payable processes, identifying opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Generate reports and provide analysis on accounts payable metrics, such as aging reports, cash flow projections, and vendor performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address accounting issues, improve processes, and support organizational goals.
- Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices, ensuring compliance and recommending adjustments as needed.
- Assist with month-end and year-end close processes, including accruals, reconciliations, and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounts payable principles, practices, and procedures.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.

The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
