Strategic Analysis is seeking a well-rounded individual to satisfy a requirement for an Accounts Payable/Sr.
Accounting Clerk position to support its corporate office in Arlington, Virginia.
It is of paramount importance to exceed our internal client expectations with high integrity and focused attention to detail.
In addition to working well in a team environment the successful candidate will incorporate the following: Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, business or equivalent field of knowledge.
• Minimum of 7 years accounting experience or equivalent combination of training and experience.
• Demonstrates expertise of standard accounting concepts, practices and procedures.
• Superior working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Deltek Costpoint and Deltek Time & Expense.
• Excellent organizational, communication and analytical skills are mandatory.
• Strong sense of initiative and sense of urgency required with reliable follow-through/execution skills.
Responsibilities: As the SA Accounts Payable/Accounting Clerk you are to provide full cycle A/P support from receipt of the vendor/consultant/subcontractor invoices and employee expense reports to payment processing utilizing Deltek Costpoint and Time & Expense.
This includes document receipt, P.O.
matching, coding, data entry, issuance of checks, resolution of billing disputes and filing.Additional requirements to include the maintenance of corporate credit cards, general ledger account reconciliations, 1099 and sales tax reporting, ad hoc reporting, training on corporate accounting systems and audit support.
