Accounts Payable Specialist - Image Specialty Partners

Image Specialty Partners in West Sacramento, CA is looking for a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for processing accounts payable in a fast-paced environment, performing vendor statement reconciliations, preparing reports and assisting with audits. This role is on-site at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA.

• Full-Time
• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• On-site at our Patient Care Center in West Sacramento, CA

Job Requirements

• 3+ years full-cycle accounts payable experience
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent experience
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and regulations
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Experience with Sage Intacct preferred, but not required
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage deadlines in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• High level of integrity and ethical standard in handling financial information and confidential data 
• Prior dental industry experience is a plus but not required
• Demonstrate consistent attendance and punctuality 

Job Responsibilities

• Process full-cycle accounts payable in a fast-paced environment
• Verify GL coding and ensure all approvals have been obtained prior to paying
• Reconcile vendor statements and work with vendors to resolve discrepancies
• Use multiple accounting systems to ensure all bills are input and paid timely
• Ensure credit memos are applied to open invoices
• Assist with annual 1099 reporting
• Post monthly journal entries
• Assist with month-end close processes
• Prepare reports for management
• Assist with annual audits
• Use and administer company practices, standards, procedures, tools and methodologies
• Other duties as assigned
