We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in the fast-paced manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of our accounts payable processes, including 3-way match, reconciliation, and AP. Responsibilities:
As a Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, 3-way match, and payment transactions.
2. Reconciling processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
3. Maintaining historical records by filing documents electronically.
4. Preparing financial reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing account information and trends.
5. Ensuring timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers, maintaining accurate records and control reports.
6. Reviewing AP reports and reconciling any discrepancies.
7. Participating in financial audits and implementing audit recommendations.
8. Collaborating closely with other departments to improve AP processes and procedures.
9. Providing top-notch customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following qualifications:
1. 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or in a similar role.
2. Proficiency in 3-way match, reconciliation, and AP.
3. Strong knowledge of general accounting procedures and regulations.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly in Excel, and experience with accounting software.
5. Excellent analytical skills with a strong attention to detail.
6. Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks.
7. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
8. A high degree of accuracy and responsibility.
9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
10. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred.
