CPH is seeking a talented Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sanford, FL.
The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for accurately processing payment requests, reviewing and approving invoices, and ensuring timely payments. This role validates expense charges, follows authorization guidelines, and conducts audits to maintain smooth payment operations.

Duties Include
- Process and verify invoices according to company guidelines.
- Streamline invoice approval and manage discrepancies.
- Handle payments via checks, electronic transfers, and ACH.
- Ensure timely payment of bills and invoices.
- Reconcile accounts payable and resolve discrepancies.
- Prepare reports and forecasts on accounts payable activities.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations.
- Assist with internal audits related to accounts payable.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software’s.
- Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, proactive follow-up, excellent organizational skills, and discretion with confidential information.
- Strong interpersonal, time-management, and problem-solving skills
- Strong sense of urgency, with outstanding prioritization skills and professionalism
- Focuses on objectives and deliverables, execution of tasks, and fast implementation.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts payable.
- Knowledge in industry specific accounting practices.
- Experience with Deltek Vision and/or EleVia is a plus.
