Our company is seeking an experienced Consulting Accounts Payable Specialist to join our dynamic Finance team. This is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in a fast-paced, innovative environment where you will play a critical role in managing our financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the full cycle of accounts payable processes, including but not limited to, 1099, invoicing, expense reports, check requests, 3-way match, wire transfers, and financial audits. This role requires a high degree of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines. Responsibilities:
1. Manage the full cycle of accounts payable activities, including processing invoices, expense reports, and check requests.
2. Handle 1099 and tax related matters.
3. Conduct 3-way match to ensure invoices, purchase orders, and receiving reports are accurate and complete.
4. Process wire transfers and manage banking relationships.
5. Prepare and maintain accurate records and reports of payable transactions.
6. Assist in the preparation for financial audits and provide necessary support.
7. Implement and maintain systems, procedures, and policies to ensure adherence to company guidelines.
8. Communicate with other departments, employees, and vendors to resolve accounts payable issues.
9. Perform data entry tasks and manage the company's financial information with confidentiality and precision.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role.
3. Proficient in 1099, invoicing, expense reports, check requests, 3-way match, and wire transfers.
4. Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices, and financial data analysis.
5. Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
6. High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
7. Proficient in MS Office, particularly Excel, and accounting software.
8. Experience in preparing for financial audits.
9. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
10. Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize workload to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
11. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
12. Be able to demonstrate integrity, dependability, responsibility, accountability, self-awareness, work ethic, and empathy.
