Client Overview:
Our client, a financial services firm, is looking to hire an Accounts Payable Specialist in Princeton, NJ. This company is continuing to grow and add to the team.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$20/hr – $28/hr Depending on experience
Position Overview:
Our client is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist who has 4+ years of experience and is a self-starter. The Accounts Payable Specialist will collaborate with departments to enhance accounts payable efficiency. They will be responsible for performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accurate cash flow tracking.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Process and approve vendor invoices for payment.
- Follow up on outstanding invoices.
- Handle payment runs and ensure timely disbursements.
- Assist with month-end closing and financial reporting.
- Resolve payment discrepancies and respond to vendor inquiries.
- Monitor cash flow and assist in managing vendor terms.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Advanced Excel skills and a good understanding of systems.
- 2+ years of AP experience.
- Analytical and very detail-oriented.
- ERP experience.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
