Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Payable (AP) Specialist. The ideal candidate will manage the accounts payable process efficiently and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and verify invoices, expense reports, and payments using the Concur expense management system.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to accounts payable and expense reimbursements.
- Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Prepare and process electronic fund transfers (EFTs) and wire transfers.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for financial audits and reporting.
- Respond to vendor inquiries and maintain positive relationships with suppliers.
- Assist in month-end closing activities, including generating reports and account reconciliations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to ensure accurate coding and approval of invoices.
Qualifications:
- Experience: 3+ years of experience in Accounts Payable or a similar role.
- Concur Expertise: Hands-on experience with Concur for invoice and expense processing is preferred.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
