- Review all invoices for appropriate documentation, research invoice discrepancies.
- Electronically send invoices to iCompleat (AP Software) and ensure invoices are flowing through the approval process in a timely manner.
- Maintain workflow definitions in iCompleat and ensure approvals are completed according to Ministry policy.
- Enter invoices directly into Intacct (Accounting software) when necessary.
- Assign proper line of Accounting to invoices.
- Maintain files and invoices accurately.
- Print and mail checks.
- Be sure staff credit cards are turned on and off appropriately.
- Ensure all receipts are uploaded in the credit card application.
- Maintain Vendor 1099s and W-9s.
- Prepare monthly bank account and credit card account reconciliations
- Two-year degree from an accredited university or the equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Staff are required to possess applicable knowledge to bring value to SMI in this role, know and utilize resources well, ask questions to ensure full understanding. gain and retain knowledge to keep up with changes, and accept and engage with training to grow knowledge for current and future responsibilities.
- Accounting Principles (Intermediate)
- Accounting Software (Intermediate): Zoho, Groundhog, iCompleat, Intacct, Smartdata
- Tasks are normally conducted in a regular office environment, requiring use of computer and mouse and other standard office equipment. Staff usually remain in a stationary position, often standing or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Staff will observe safety principles while performing the duties of the position.
- Staff will be required to travel and have a valid driver's license.
- May need to lift and move items up to 35 lbs on occasion.
