Accounts Payable Specialist - PE-Backed Company at Creative Financial Staffing

Creative Financial Staffing has partnered with a manufacturing company located in Norwood, MA to identify an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their team.

The Accounts Payable Specialist's responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Process all incoming invoices, check requests, and expense reports
  
• Receive invoices, properly code them for each program in the general ledger, and obtain proper approvals
  
• Create daily check register for management to review
  
• Electronically maintain vendor files and Accounts Payable reporting
  
• Manage the annual 1099 process
  
• Obtain completed W-9s
  
• Prepare monthly fixed asset depreciation journal entry and reconciliation and maintain fixed assets file
  
• Support the annual audit

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting, or experience equivalent
• 3+ years of experience working within an accounts payable role
