Your role as the ACCOUNTS PAYABLE SPECIALIST will be to maintain all accounts payable files and documentation. Maintain accounts payable system of balances and controls. Process all invoices and disbursements for payment ensuring the checks, EFTs and virtual cards are disbursed to the appropriate party.

Primary Responsibilities

• Process a high volume of invoices and checks per week
• Accurate and timely filing of documents
• Reconcile vendor statements monthly
• Research outstanding transactions
• Work with multiple managers to resolve vendor disputes
• Meet accounting deadlines for month-end process and closing cycles
• Make logical and sound decisions, and keeps management apprise of potential problems/concerns

Position Requirements

• 2-4 Years of high-volume accounts payable processing
• Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel and Outlook
• Yardi Voyager accounts payable experience a plus
• Enthusiastic, very determined, reliable, outgoing personality.
• High school diploma required, some college work a plus
• Exhibits solid verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to calmly resolve disputes or complaints
