Job Summary

The Shared Services Accounts Payable Specialist will operate in a team setting and be responsible for vendor invoice processing, ensuring productivity and accuracy, and meeting service expectations within a daily high-transaction volume environment.

Job Location

This position will be located at our Corporate office in the Perimeter area of Atlanta, GA – Hybrid work schedule.

Job Responsibilities

• Training OCR to extract relevant and accurate information from documents.
• Timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices.
• Ensure all work is performed per deadline targets.
• Understand and apply Accounts Payable processes, policies, procedures, and internal control standards.
• Interact professionally with internal and external colleagues and vendors.
• Other duties and projects as assigned.

Job Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in accounts payables.
• Strong data entry, communication, and customer service abilities.
• Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy in a very high transaction volume environment.
• Team oriented and aptitude to work in a high volume, constantly changing, fast-paced environment and willingness to learn new processes, concepts, and skills.
• Prior experience working on OCR platforms is a plus.
• Experience with Oracle NetSuite, SAP S4Hana, and Microsoft AX Dynamics ERPs platforms is a plus.
• A college degree or a combination of training and equivalent work experience in an accounting/finance environment is preferred.
