Salary/Hourly Rate:
$25/hr+ Depending on experience
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Specialist with 3+ years of hands-on experience in accounts payable. The ideal candidate is a proactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can independently manage their workload while contributing to the efficiency of the accounting team.
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- Efficiently process and manage a high volume of vendor invoices on a regular basis.
- Proactively follow up on outstanding invoices to ensure timely resolution and payment.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies quickly and accurately.
- Work closely with various departments to optimize and enhance the efficiency of accounts payable operations in a fast-paced environment.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:
- 5+ years of experience in accounts payable or a similar role.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP, and data analysis, with strong financial system knowledge.
- Extensive experience with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- In-depth knowledge of accounts payable processes, including invoice processing, vendor management, and payment procedures.
- Experience reconciling vendor statements and resolving discrepancies.
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma is required.
