This role provides support to internal and external customers, processing day-to-day invoices; ensuring documentation is complete, accurate and payments are timely while adhering to AP policies and procedures.

 

Responsibilities:

• Perform high volume invoice entry, including 2 and 3 -way PO matching, transferring e-invoice successfully in accordance with departmental volume and accuracy standards
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and escalate as needed to ensure timeliness of payments
• Matching invoices to payments, identifying discrepancies and ensuring checks are routed correctly
• Provide customer service in response to internal and external questions regarding A/P, responding timely and in a consistent manner supporting overall relationships
• Assisting with projects within the department
• Backup to other staff and other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

Required for this job: 

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 2 years processing accounts payable
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects at once.
• Clear and professional oral and written communication skills by email, phone and in person
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
• Attention to detail and ability to follow-up regularly, prioritize, and independently perform complicated tasks with minimal direction
• Maintain and apply accounts payable best practices on policies and procedures
• Able to identify and resolve routine and complex problems
• Able to ensure accurate and timely AP processing
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency with MS Office Word, Excel and Outlook
• 10-key by touch
• Professional behavior to include punctuality, reliability, collaboration, and the ability to work well with all levels within the organization

Preferred for this job: 

• Bachelor's degree
• previous experience in a healthcare setting preferred
• PeopleSoft FMS experience

The hourly pay range for this position is from $22.21 to $31.61 and pay offered will be based on experience and qualifications.
