Key Responsibilities:

• Process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper coding to the appropriate accounts and grants.
• Prepare and issue payments, including checks, ACH transfers, and wire payments, while adhering to organizational policies.
• Review and reconcile expense reports, ensuring compliance with funding and organizational guidelines.
• Assist with tracking budgets and grant-related expenses to ensure compliance with funding requirements.
• Maintain organized records of transactions, supporting audits and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve payment discrepancies and inquiries.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparing AP-related journal entries.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
• 2+ years of experience in accounts payable, ideally in a non-profit setting.
• Familiarity with non-profit funding regulations, grant compliance, and restricted funds (a plus).
