Accounts Payable Specialist - Motivo Engineering

Motivo is on the lookout for an Accounts Payable Specialist who can execute and optimize our existing accounting processes while working toward establishing a robust purchasing process with strong vendor relationships. You'd be an ideal candidate if you are an eager learner who loves working in an ever shifting and competitive product engineering, technical environment. People love working with you, but you know how to hold your ground against an audacious vendor or product manager. You're detail oriented, collaborative and can spin 14 plates at once without breaking a sweat.

Responsibilites:

• All AP functions, including posting, matching and paying vendor bills, setting up payments in the bank portal, posting payments to ERP system.
• Monitor and clear AP inbox
• Execute the accounting and finance team's strategy maintaining strong controls and processes
• Credit card posting and monthly reconciliation
• Prepare and process weekly check runs and electronics payments
• General ledger posting and sub-ledge reconciliation
• Month-end closing process
• Vendor/client account reconciliation in a timely manner
• Daily enter key data of financial transactions in database
• Handle incoming accounting email
• Handle purchasing email inbox

Requirements

• Proficient in Netsuite
• 3+ years of experience in accounts payable or related role
• Good understanding of accounting principles, GAAP
• High ownership and initiative
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Client or vendor experience
• Strong proficiency in MS Office Applications
• A naturally inquisitive, deliberate, and focused team player

Base Rate Range: $25/hr - $32/hr

Annual profit sharing estimate: $5,200 - $13,312

Salary is dependent on experience, knowledge, and interview performance.
