Accounts Payable Specialist- Gambrills, MD

About the Company and Accounts Payable Specialist Opportunity:

• CFS is partnering with a new client in Gambrills, MD. Due to an upcoming maternity leave, they are hiring an Accounts Payable Specialist to work on site in their office in Gambrills, MD.
  • This position is a contract and would last for 2-3 months.
• Schedule: This position is 100% on site in Gambrills, MD
  
  • Hours are flexible. Start as early as 7am, Monday-Friday, 24-40 hours per week
• Reports to the Controller
• Salary: $50,000-57,000 depending on experience
• Ideal start: Mid January 2025

Job Duties of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Manage the AP inbox
• Process ~250-300 invoices per week
• Pull invoices and set up jobs in Vista system
• Work closely with Project Managers and assist in resolving discrepancies
• Communicate with vendors regarding payment status
• Assist in financial audit

Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• Basic AP experience required
  • Vendor management, data entry, invoice processing
• Experience using Visa by Viewpoint a plus
• Basic Excel skills
• Self starter and able to work independently
