Salary Range: $49,920 to $56,160 DOE.

Overview of the Accounts Payable Specialist role:

• Oversee the full cycle accounts payable (AP) process.
• Reconcile vendor accounts and resolve discrepancies.
• Collaborate with vendors to address past-due bills and monthly statement reconciliations.
• Match incoming bills to purchase orders and ensure all supporting documentation is in place.
• Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice processing.
• Maintain and update transactional logs and various spreadsheets.
• Communicate with vendors via phone, fax, and email.
• Assist with monthly billing processes and various office projects.

Preferred Qualification of the Accounts Payable Specialist:

• A 2-year associate degree in accounting is preferred.
• At least one year of previous accounting experience.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel.
• Experience with QuickBooks.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to retrieve information efficiently.
• Capacity to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with a high attention to detail.
