Job Summary & Responsibilities
This position will manage all aspects of Accounts Payable (AP) function including day to day APteam management to ensure vendor invoices are recorded timely and accurately, vendorpayments are processed in the most efficient manner and all internal control procedures areobserved and followed.
Role Requirements
- Manage all aspects of AP function and provide leadership to the AP team.
- Approve AP vouchers in a paperless workflow environment and review check, wireand ACH payment packages prior to payment release in accordance with Nevro SOP.
- Set up ACH vendors in the banking system, manage and monitor positive pay transactions.
- Monitor AP e-mail Inbox to respond to and resolve urgent issues or requests.
- Monitor and review AP Aging Report, outstanding workflows in DocLib andunvouchered invoices (PO- Initials) in QAD to proactively address or resolve any pastdue invoices.
- Manage and coordinate monthly Accounts Payable close process, including AP andClinical accruals. Investigate any discrepancies discovered during the GL to APmodule reconciliation process.
- Communicate with top suppliers during month-end and quarter-end to gatheraccrual information in accordance with internal controls.
- Manage quarterly and yearly audit preparation for AP related activities; respond to PwCfor any audit item requests.
- Manage American Express corporate card program and concur T&E reimbursements.
- Direct and supervise Form 1099 processing.
- Review of suppliers in QAD on an annual basis to deactivate obsolete suppliers inaccordance with internal controls.
- Mentor, train and hire AP staff members. Foster an environment that encourages ideaswithin the group to improve the efficiency of the Accounts Payable function.
- Assist the AP team with any QAD or DocLib related issues and look foropportunities for process automation and improvements.
- Maintain and ensure ongoing compliance with SOX 404 internal control documentation andtesting.
- Develop, document and educate employees and management on new and/orupdated policies and procedures.
Skills and Knowledge
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance or relevant work experience can be substituted
- ERP system experience, QAD preferred.
- Experience with Concur and American Express @Work preferred.
- 5-7 years of managerial experience.
- Bank of America CashPro banking platform experience preferred.
- Detail-oriented and strong interpersonal skills.
- Innovative and able to thrive in a high paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Adaptable to change, proactive and problem solver.

Target Pay Range
$126.252-$173,597. The final starting salary offer to the successful candidate will be determined by evaluating several factors, such as education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, alignment with market data, and geography. Nevro is a multi-state employer, so the target pay range may increase or decrease depending on the city/state.
