Job Details
Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable:
- Supervise and lead the accounts payable team in processing, coding, and applying expense type and workflows to invoice registers in accordance with company policies and ensure accurate and timely processing and payment of invoice registers, including the utilization of our third party providers such as Conservice and PayScan Full Service
- Supervise setting up, and maintaining vendor records, including requesting W-9s, certificate of insurance and all applicable data as needed
- Maintain effective communication with cross-functional teams and vendors to address inquiries and resolve discrepancies in vendor files
- Manage the process of issuing 1099 forms in compliance with tax regulations and stay informed about changes in tax laws and ensure timely and accurate submission of required documents
- Implement and maintain effective accounts payable policies and procedures
- Continuously evaluate and improve accounts payable processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy by exploring and leveraging technology solutions to automate data entry and validation in our processes.
- Utilize analytics tools to analyze accounts payable data and identify patterns and trends and implement corrective actions
- Assist in month-end close process by reconciling accounts payable balances and preparing reports as needed
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects, as needed
Treasury:
- Supervise cash management activities, including daily cash reporting, forecasting and liquidity management, and contribute to financial forecasting
- Monitor lines of credits and related tranches to balance accessibility to cash and interest/fee payments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate cash flow projections
- Evaluate, identify improvements, implement and maintain treasury policies to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Monitor and manage bank relationships, including supervision of the completion of the account analysis reports to identify areas to reduce costs
- Oversee the opening of new bank accounts and implementing new services within the banks including the set up of positive pay transmissions, and AP/AR point IDs
- Develop and maintain the user access matrix to ensure that user access is aligned with our internal controls and policies
- Develop and enforce treasury policies and that we are operating within our cash control policy
- Assist in any ad-hoc projects, as needed

Qualifications

Education / Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting
- Yardi experience, a plus
- Prior accounts payable and treasury experience
