Accounts Payable Manager - Weston & Sampson

About the Job
Weston & Sampson is seeking an Accounts Payable Manager with 5+ years of experience in our Reading, MA office.
What you’ll do:
- Oversee the Accounts Payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of vendor invoices, company credit card activity & employee expense reports
- Maintain accurate and complete financial, employee and client records. Review of general ledger on a weekly/monthly basis including intercompany transactions
- Assist in month end closes and annual audits
- Maintain company fixed assets, prepaid expenses, accruals and other payable schedules
- Hire, train, evaluate Accounts Payable staff to ensure their job responsibilities are being performed efficiently and effectively
What you will bring:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or similar related field
- 5+ years of professional experience in accounts payable
- Experience in construction and/or engineering industry a plus
- Proficient in MS Excel and Word, Deltek Vision a plus
- Strong problem-solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, and data analysis skills
- Ability to multitask, adapt with change quickly and follow tasks through to completion
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills
