Position - Accounts Payable Manager
Compensation - $80K - $90K a year
Position Type - Full Time Permanent

SUMMARY OF POSITION:
Responsible for all activities in the accounts payable function.
Ensures timely payments of vendor invoices and expense vouchers and maintains accurate records and control reports.
Review applicable accounting reports and accounts payable register to ensure accuracy.
Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures.
Relies on extensive experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
Performs a variety of tasks.
Leads and directs the work of others.
A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
• Monitor and report on workflow processes and team productivity.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures designed to optimize the balance between the need for agility and solid financial controls.
• Lead and develop staff, constantly developing them to support the company's accelerated growth.
• Utilize a case management tool to effectively measure resource requirements and customer experience.
• Develop metrics and reporting processes designed to emphasize transparency.
• Supervise team productivity workload to achieve an effective balance of meeting departmental goals and maintaining internal controls and integrity.
• Develop a high functioning efficient and responsive accounts payable team through strategic hiring, performance management and process optimization.
• Serve as the AP system business application owner, including the delivery of training to the accounts payable team, and internal customer end users.
• Ensure accounts payable team members communicate with key vendors to resolve pending issues and facilitate a positive working relationship.

• 5-7 years or demonstrated expertise in high volume transaction Accounts Payable organization
• 2-5 years of experience managing a staff of 2 or more.

LANGUAGE SKILLS
• Exceptional verbal communication skills
• Excellent written communication skills
COMPUTER SKILLS
Proven ability to lead and supervise a team.
Track record of gaining efficiencies through automation and process improvements.
Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and Outlook.
Adaptability to learn Brand Online, NGP and J&E.
Able to use 10-key by touch.
