Job Overview:
Primoris Services Corporation is currently searching for an Accounts Payable Manager. As an expert in your field, the Accounts Payable Manager will support the month and year-end closing procedures and assist with day-to-day function for all Primoris companies. This position will be located on site at our Lewisville, TX location.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Analyze and process accounts payable.
- Research and resolve account discrepancies.
- Provide customer service to internal and external clients.
- Manage ACH and wire payments.
- Manage account reconciliation.
- Provide support during month and year-end closing procedures for all Accounting/Finance departments.
- Assist with general ledger accounts owned by accounts payable to ensure minimal to no aging of payables as well as initiate further review of any transactions as needed.
- Coach the development of Accounts Payable Associates through day-to-day problem solving.
- Partner with department manager and procurement to implement and support new business units and processes.
- Assist with 1099 processing to ensure that documents are filed and submitted timely.
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 plus years of leadership experience in accounting, finance, or business operations.
- Must be knowledgeable of 1099’s and sales tax.
- Demonstrated accounting knowledge to translate business operations into financial statement results including SOX controls, month end close and analytical reviews.
- Strong problem solving, communication, prioritization, and analytical skills.
- High level of curiosity, initiative, and the desire to learn end to end processes to drive process efficiencies and simplification.
- Ability to be resilient, and adaptable, working through ambiguity and change in a fast-paced accounting operations environment.
