About the Job
Our client is a retailer that is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Payable Lead. The Accounts Payable Lead should have a strong background in accounts payable and vendor management.
Salary/Hourly Rate:
$32/hr – $33/hr
Position Overview:
The Account Payable Lead will work directly alongside the Accounts Payable Manager and a few Accounts Payable Clerks. The ideal candidate for this Accounts Payable Lead position should have 5 years of high-volume, full-cycle AP experience. This is a great opportunity for an experienced Accounts Payable Lead to join a growing company!
Responsibilities of the Accounts Payable Lead:
- Match store receiving logs with vendor invoices for accuracy.
- Confirm the receipt of goods or services and ensure proper documentation is in place.
- Review employee reimbursement expenses for accuracy before processing payments.
- Enter invoices into the ERP system daily, ensuring proper approval, coding, and matching for payment processing.
- Reconcile statements from vendors.
- Manage the monthly payment process to landlords, including rent and adjustments.
- Act as a subject matter expert to assist and resolve issues for other Accounts Payable team members.
- Assist with switchboard duties as required.
Qualifications for the Accounts Payable Lead:
- 5+ years of high-volume, full-cycle AP experience.
- Strong vendor management experience.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Ability to work 5 days onsite in Mansfield, MA.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required.
