Job Details:
We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Accounts Payable professional to join our dynamic team within the manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in maintaining our financial records, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments. This is a permanent, full-time position that offers an excellent opportunity to grow and develop your career within the finance department of a fast-paced, forward-thinking manufacturing company.

Responsibilities:

Lead the full cycle of accounts payable activities including invoice processing, payment processing, and vendor communication.
Approve new vendor requests, ensuring all necessary information and documentation is accurate and complete.
Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
Prepare and review expense reports, ensuring all expenses are within the company's policies and guidelines.
Process ACH payments, ensuring all transactions are completed accurately and on time.
Maintain vendor files, ensuring all information is up-to-date and accurate.
Collaborate with other departments to improve and streamline accounts payable processes.
Prepare and present reports on accounts payable status and activities to management.

Qualifications:

A minimum of 1 years of experience in an Accounts Payable role, preferably within the manufacturing industry.
Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and general accounting procedures.
Excellent attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve discrepancies and issues.
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
