Accounts Payable Coordinator Overview:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator will oversee the complete accounts payable cycle, ensuring precision in invoice processing, payment execution, and vendor relations. This role is ideal for a detail-driven professional skilled in collaboration, financial accuracy, and supporting month-end close activities.
Key Responsibilities for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- Manage the accounts payable process, including invoice validation, data entry, and payment processing.
- Review and reconcile vendor statements, promptly addressing and resolving discrepancies.
- Collaborate with internal teams to secure necessary approvals and documentation for payment workflows.
- Maintain accurate and current vendor records in the accounting system.
- Support month-end close activities by preparing and analyzing accounts payable reports.
Qualifications desired for the Accounts Payable Coordinator:
- 2+ years of proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk or in a similar financial role.
- Strong knowledge of AP processes, including invoice processing, payment methods, and vendor management.
- Construction Industry Experience required
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
