My client is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator!
A well-established and highly esteemed Real Estate firm is looking to add a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Coordinator to their growing team. Responsibilities:
- Primary responsibilities include managing the A/P flow, selecting invoices currently due for payment, and final filing of invoices.
- Accurately review and approve accounts payable invoices.
- Day to day financial data entry.
- Investigate inaccuracies or variances & resolves any issues.
- Facilitates payment of invoices by sending bill reminders and contacting clients.
- Post wire and book transfers.
- Account reconciliation, including bank statements and general ledger accounts.
- Respond to vendor payment inquiries.
- Process urgent payment requests.
- Review approved utility invoices and post manual payments in MRI.
Requirements:
- 2-3 years of Accounts Payable experience.
- Experience working with a residential real estate development or property management firm.
- Experience with low-income housing, Section 8, and government tax credit subsidies is highly preferred.
- Excellent data entry skills with high attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong math aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of real estate tax preferred but not required.
- MRI, Yardi, or other related Real Estate software preferred.
