Job Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Coordinator performs many accounting, administrative and organizational tasks to promote the financial health of the company. These duties and responsibilities include:
- Enter AP invoices into various accounting Software.
- Assist with the monitoring and creation of Service Purchase Order.
- Responsively handle vendor inquiries regarding invoicing questions in a professional and timely manner.
- Process vendor credit applications, ACH verifications and maintenance of vendor profiles.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies.
- Maintain historical records of all invoices, reports, receipts, and properly store documents in accounting system and shared drive.
- Assist Technicians and other departments with equipment and material purchases.
- Assist with month-end close processes and provide support for audits.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable or a related accounting role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Experience with the following software is highly preferred: Deltek ComputerEase, ServiceTrade, PartsLedger/PartsManager
- Experience working in the following industries is highly preferred: Mechanical Contracting (as a subcontractor), Construction (as a General Contractor / Construction Manager), HVAC/Plumbing Service

- the individual’s skill sets, experience and training;

With that said, as required by local law, Vaco believes that the following salary range referenced above reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
