Accounts Payable Clerk - UNIFY Talent Acquisition

Summary:

Performs all accounts payable functions in support of the Accounting Department

The expected hourly pay range for this role is $21-$23.

Responsibilities:

• Performs maintenance of the accounts payable vendor files.
• Maintains paid invoice file.
• Makes General Ledger code assignments and issues accounts payable check.
• Tracks forecasting identification codes.
• Maintains the outstanding check listing.
• Maintains stop/void check log.
• Reconciles various general ledger accounts.
• Prepares and balances member/corporate disbursement check reports.
• Ensures full compliance with UNIFY Financial Credit Union Service Standards.
• Ensures compliance with the Bank Secrecy Act.

Qualifications:

• Requires high school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of one-year related experience preferably in a financial institution.
• Some accounting college level coursework preferred.
• Must be analytical, thorough, and well-organized.
• Proficient in spreadsheet and word processing software applications.
• Requires the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
