General Description:
Our Finance team is looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk to support the company’s focus on continuous improvement. This role will be overseeing the all the functions within the Accounts Payables and support other Finance team members within financial processes. The successful candidate will work closely with other departments to ensure continuous improvement of data quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Process of accounts payable invoices through procurement matching and expense vouchering
- Pre-coding with GL account of non-PO invoices
- Weekly reviewing and resolving of GR account overdues
- Weekly maintaining and resolving of Accounts Payable aging
- Work closely with internal and external contacts on resolving discrepancies
- Request regular vendor statements
- Meet and drive with other departments process improvements
- Maintenance of vendor master information
- Back up of ICP AP function
- Filing
Qualifications:
- Minimum two years’ experience in general accounting
- Strong computer skills – SAP experience a plus
- High math aptitude
- Ability to work accurately with numbers
- Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and/or bookkeeping procedures
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills
- Able to handle problems with little or no supervision
Education:
Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance
