The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for assisting the accounting and payroll departments; this position has great exposure to a variety of accounting functions in a rapidly growing senior living company. Responsibilities Overview:
- Assist in managing AP invoicing from beginning to end (invoice receipt, approval and payment).
- Ensure payment posting accuracy.
- Research invoices, both paid and unpaid as needed, including cleared check inquiries and voiding of checks.
- Set-up new vendors and ensuring proper documentation is received and scanned into the system.
- Assist locations with general AP needs or issues as needed.
- Assist in maintenance of credit cards, procurement and payment software.
- Daily invoice entry; including downloading and organizing digital invoices.
- Special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
- Good customer service skills
- Well organized, reliable with a strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and with a team in a high-volume environment with an emphasis on accuracy and timeliness
- Some previous accounting experience
- The Ability to Operate Standard Office Equipment
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
- Point Click Care experience preferred not required
