Job Description
We are looking for an entry-level Accounts Payable (AP) Associate to join our growing team in Lincolnshire. This position offers standard working hours from 8 AM to 5 PM.
Responsibilities
+ Review and enter invoices timely and accurately.
+ Perform three-way match to purchase orders and ensure appropriate approval has been obtained.
+ Reconcile processed work by verifying entries and comparing system reports to balances.
+ Research and resolve any invoice discrepancies to root cause.
+ Maintain relationships with various departments and vendors, providing excellent customer service.
+ Ensure compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and company-established policies.
+ Maintain accurate and orderly accounting files.
+ Provide necessary team coverage and ensure daily tasks are completed.
+ Assist with reporting and special projects.
+ Assist management in the identification and resolution of problems.
+ Drive continuous efficiency and effectiveness in day-to-day activities.
+ Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Essential Skills
+ 1+ years of Accounts Payable experience.
+ Strong data entry skills and attention to detail.
+ Intermediate proficiency in MS Excel.
+ At least a High School Diploma.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with SAP is a plus.
Work Environment
The position is based in a corporate office in Lincolnshire, which is attached to a production area. Candidates should be comfortable working in a manufacturing environment. This role reports to the AP Manager and works alongside four other AP team members. The role involves close collaboration with other departments, including sales, shipping, and customer service. The work environment is fast-paced, supportive, and highly accountable, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.57 - $23.36
