Cordoba Summer 2024 Intern
We are looking for summer intern to support our Water sector. The successful student-intern will be responsible for providing engineering support, coordinating the planning, and assisting in the execution of project tasks for the civil engineers and project managers. This is a paid position.
Responsibilities
- Accepts designated, business-focus projects to research, propose ideas and solutions, and present the final project during the internship.
- Perform conceptual and detailed design calculations and analyses.
- Working with project engineers, coordinators, and project manager.
- Assist in the preparation of construction drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure standard engineering practices and inclusion of appropriate documentation on various reports and design projects.
- Be responsible for the preparation of project-related reports and fact sheets.
- Represent respective projects at meetings with clients, stakeholders, and contractors.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education/Qualifications/Skills:
- Familiarity with construction and civil engineering industry standards.
- Excellent verbal communication/presentation and English writing skills.
- Current standing as a junior or senior-level student enrolled in a bachelor’s degree program in civil engineering, mechanical engineer, or construction management.
- Ability to work on team projects and handle several assignments simultaneously.
- Salary Range: $17.00 to $20.00 per hour.
- Location: Hybrid.
